The Danish EasyLog-in now available via WAYF

WAYF has been connected to EasyLog-in (NemLog-in in Danish), the national citizens' login service. EasyLog-in is a national, publicly funded eID federation and single-sign-on engine with a single Identity Provider (IdP) connected: EasyID (NemID in Danish) – which is built on the same technology as the common authentication mechanism used by all Danish banks. The solution will be rolled out over 6 months to 3.6 million Danes, beginning 1st of July 2010. The overlap between technologies ensures that end users will quickly be familiar with the authentication mechanism, as they will use it to log in at their home-banking service.
