National University Hospital of Iceland now a WAYF user organisation

The National University Hospital of Iceland today has joined WAYF as a user organisation. And so, hospital staff now have the ability to identify as such vis-à-vis a lengthy array of internet services within WAYF and eduGAIN of relevance to medical research.

With the National University Hospital of Iceland, WAYF now has admitted its fourth Icelandic member. We're thus witnessing a continuation of recent years' trend of growing WAYF embracement by North Atlantic institutions.

One driver for the the National University Hospital of Iceland joining WAYF has been obtaining easy access to Iceland's national IRIS service for registration of research information. More Icelandic research institutions are expected to join WAYF soon with IRIS access an important driver.
