In addition to its production environment, WAYF also operates a quality assurance environment. This environment typically runs a newer version of WAYF’s federation platform than the version used in the production environment, often with new or modified functionality. If, as an end user of WAYF, you wish to test pilot functionality that is available only in the quality assurance environment, you must first configure your browser to use that version of WAYF.
If you want to use WAYF’s quality assurance environment instead of the production environment, simply go to https://wayfsp.wayf.dk/ in a newly opened browser and then click wayf-qa . All WAYF traffic will then be routed via the quality assurance environment until you close the browser.
The browser must be newly opened; otherwise, the domain cookie that points to the quality assurance environment will be given lower priority than the cookie that is automatically set to point to the production environment.
WAYF’s quality assurance environment is intended solely for testing WAYF’s own software – not that of its members.
