Reykjavík University (RU) today has joined WAYF as a user organisation. And so, staff and students here now have the ability to identify as such vis-à-vis a lengthy array of internet services within WAYF and eduGAIN. RU users already access the ERASMUS service, OLA, through WAYF. And later on, its WAYF connection is expected to provide RU researchers easy access to HPC facilities under LUMI.
With Reykjavík University, WAYF now has admitted its second Icelandic member — the University of Iceland has been a member for many years. We're thus witnessing a continuation of recent years' trend of growing WAYF embracement by North Atlantic academic institutions.
