Aarhus University this week became the fourth Danish organisation to declare itself compliant with SIRTFI, a protocol for handling security incidents involving federated identity. Holders of Arhus University accounts thus now have the ability to identify as such vis-à-vis service providers – e.g., Swiss CERN – that accept federated identities only from SIRTFI-compliant organisations.
Previously, the Technical University of Denmark, the University of Southern Denmark, and Copenhagen Business School have implemented SIRTFI and declared compliance with the protocol. Their SIRTFI compliance is visible in the metadata for these organisations published in eduGAIN by WAYF. On the PHPh site you can (by selecting the Sirtfi filter) retrieve a list of entities requiring and complying with SIRTFI, respectively.
