Back in November of 2022, WAYF was approved by Denmark's Agency for Digital Government as a ‘broker’ of the identity assurance level ‘Substantial’ as defined in the Danish National Standard for Identity Assurance Levels (‘NSIS’). Consequently, WAYF now figures in that capacity on the Agency's official NSIS Positive List.

WAYF enables IT users in an organisation to access services outside the organisation with the login they use for the organisation's internal systems. This provides a number of advantages for the users' organisation, the users themselves and the providers of the external services.
