University of Akureyri now a WAYF identity provider

Iceland's University of Akureyri today has joined WAYF as a user organisation. And so, staff and students here now have the ability to identify as such vis-à-vis a lengthy array of internet services within WAYF and eduGAIN.

With the University of Akureyri, WAYF now has admitted its third Icelandic member — the Universities of Iceland and Reykjavík have been members for some time. We're thus witnessing a continuation of recent years' trend of growing WAYF embracement by North Atlantic academic institutions.
